This particular kitchen was assigned by a doctor, who loves cooking, spends many hours in this space and attaches great importance to the functionality of the kitchen space and its aesthetics. Following the owner's wish, it was chosen that there will be no obvious points in the kitchen, one part of it isl be completely compact and the other part, the most "open", is the part where the counter is located. Two different levels were created through the design, one in a projection of wood glaze and the other in a recess of lacquer.
A lot of attention to detail was given to the joints of the cabinets and their visual continuity from the bottom of the kitchen upwards. This continuity, both horizontally and vertically, has been maintained in the compact part of the kitchen, thus creating a sense of unity, making the space larger and very harmonious, while at the same time we have achieved through this design enough storage space without creating visual clutter in the kitchen. The color harmony of the lacquer cabinets gains intensity and interest from the black glass which on the back hosts electrical appliances that serve the user.
As a continuation of the choice of black glass, dark-colored electrical appliances were also chosen, creating a very interesting intervention in the compact part of the kitchen. Finally, the island comes to complete this whole sense of harmony in the space, giving the user an additional counter in the kitchen more to relax or be served with a quick breakfast. Overall, this kitchen managed to be modern, warm, harmonious and very functional.
