This specific project involves the design and complete renovation of a two-story building, which accommodates a store on the ground floor and a two-bedroom residence on the first floor, with a total area of 160 square meters across both levels.
On the side of the building, which also serves as the entrance to the first-floor apartment, the pre-existing stone was preserved. Additionally, a small vertical section of stone was maintained on the building's facade, which houses the entrance to the store. The facades of the residential level were covered with thermal insulation, while the store was enclosed with a cement board structure.
The apartment is intended for Airbnb use, so neutral and soft tones were selected for the flooring, wall colors, and the materials used for the bedroom wardrobes. In the kitchen, while soft tones were chosen for the cabinetry, dark brown technogranite was placed on the kitchen countertop, and black-tinted glass was used in a storage area in the kitchen. Tiles in earthy tones were applied on the wall behind the future refrigerator and around the perimeter above the counter.
The final result presents a balanced intensity, providing both interest and tranquility to the space. The same design concept was applied in the bathroom of the apartment, with tiles in soft shades and black accessories placed throughout, contributing to a cohesive aesthetic in the entire space.
