Two storey detached house

This particular two-story house is located on a plot far from the urban fabric of Agrinio, offering steep slopes but exceptional views of the city perimeter. The main entrance to the plot, which also leads to the house, is situated at the highest point of the land, while a second entrance on the opposite side leads to a parking area built beneath the level of the swimming pool. A key design decision by the designID office was to emphasize the clarity of the building's lines, creating a unified architectural entity that stands out clearly from the street level. This design ensures the building's dominance and visibility, making its presence felt even from a distance. The kitchen area was designed to accentuate the length of the walls with the use of black technogranite along their surfaces. A linear ceiling light was strategically placed along the kitchen's long dimension to further enhance the space. On the entrance facade of the building, a system of metal beams was incorporated to define the entryway. These beams serve to separate the entrance from the other facade elements, creating distinct levels that are easily identifiable by visitors.
